Ramadan is also known as Ramzan. It is a holy month of the Muslim community. It begins and ends with the observance of the New Moon. Across the globe, Muslims celebrate this holy month in form of observing a strict fast from dawn to dusk. According to the Islamic calendar, Ramadan falls in the 9th month. However, as per the gregorian calendar, the festival corresponds to the month of April or May. In Islamic beliefs, whosoever performs the ritual of Ramadan with faithful intention is forgiven by God for their past sins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, if the Moon appears on Friday, the dawn of Saturday will mark the beginning of<strong> Ramzan 2020. <\/strong>However, due to nationwide lockdown to stop Coronavirus outbreak, for the first time, people will offer prayers of Ramadan from home. Upon this, Ulema has appealed for this. According to the request, people must stay at home and offer their prayer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Timing_of_Ramadan_2020\"><\/span>Timing of Ramadan 2020<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The month begins with the observance of the Moon. On April 23rd, Thursday, people in South Kannada and Udupi districts of Karnataka and Kappad in Kozhikode district of Kerala saw the moon of Ramadan. Therefore, in these regions, Ramadan month has already started from Friday i.e. from today April 24th. However, in the rest of the country, the month of Ramadan is may start from Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the month of Mukdas Ramadan, the intolerable heat and sultriness will test the patience. People who observe Roza will have to bear heatwave. In addition to this, the<strong> first Roza <\/strong>will be 15 hours and 9 minutes long. It will begin at 4:15 am and end at 6:54 pm on 25th April. Whereas, the last Roza will be 15 hours and 1 minute long. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timing of First Roza of Ramadan <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">Muqaddas Ramadan<br>Thee first Roja Sahri- April 25th Saturday<br> Sunni- 4:15 pm<br> Shia- 4: 10 pm<br> First Rosa Iftar- April 25th Saturday<br> Sunni- 6:54 pm<br> Shia- 6:49 pm<br> Second Rosa Sahri- April 26th Sunday)<br> Sunni- 4:14 pm<br> Shia- 4: 09 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Prohibited_Things_on_Ramadan_2020\"><\/span>Prohibited Things on Ramadan 2020<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?sa=X&amp;q=coronavirus+tips&amp;oi=ddle&amp;ct=153607509&amp;hl=en&amp;ved=0ahUKEwiE6amGz4DpAhUt6XMBHTASCfEQPQgN&amp;biw=1517&amp;bih=694&amp;dpr=0.9\">pandemic<\/a>, there are several things that will be prohibited during Ramzan 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>People will not leave their houses to offer prayer in Masjids. They shall pray and offer Namaz from their homes only. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Even the Taravih prayers will also be at home. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The ritual of Shabine (listening to Qur&#8217;an-e-Pak) shall not be performed. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The process of Tolis spreading awareness of Iftar timing is prohibited. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>There will not be any collective Roza Iftar programs. People will have to follow social distancing. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>There will not be any market buzz during the First Moon Night. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Online_Arrangements_for_Ramadan\"><\/span>Online Arrangements for Ramadan<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As Masjids will not open, there shall be several online arrangements for Ramadan Prayers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Due to lockdown, nobody will perform prayers in Masjid.
