Ayurveda is the eternal history of India, which has been taking care of and protecting our health for centuries. The purpose of this scripture is mainly to protect the health of humans and to remove the diseases of patients.

The word Ayurveda is made up of two words (Ayu+ Veda). ‘Age’: means “life” and “Veda” means “knowledge”. Its true meaning is the knowledge of being healthy. However, this ancient Shastra is not just limited to the treatment of disease, but it has extremely great meaning.
It has been written in Ayurveda scriptures that,
Ardh Rog Hari Nidra, Sarva Rog Hari Kshuda
The meaning of the above line is, eating at the right time and sleeping at the right time always keeps the body healthy. According to this, both Ayurveda and today’s science have the same conclusion. That many physical diseases are completely destroyed by fasting and meditation, and this is also an effective remedy for the suppression of mental illnesses. Ayurveda is the best way to keep the world healthy and healthy.
It is certainly true that “Ayurveda” can provide solutions to all diseases. Because the diagnosis of everything is hidden in our nature itself. Ayurveda has solutions for all diseases. One only needs to find it in nature Disease, whether it is physical or mental, moral or social, is the cause of everyone’s immunity system and vindictive life and its only remedy is – Yoga, Ayurveda, Satvik way of life.

These are the main slogans of Ayurveda. In the major Ayurvedic texts, without stressing on the treatment of diseases, there are lessons about how to decrease diseases and maintain the health of an individual. There are emphasis on how to increase the age of a healthy person.
For this purpose, in Ayurveda, the books of Ashtanga Sangatra, Ashtanga Hridaya, and Srichakrasamhita have explained the sequence of this idea from chapter 1 to chapter 7. In addition to these chapters, the 6th chapter gives details of diet with daily routine, dietary information like water, milk, honey, sugarcane juice, etc. and meat. Apart from this, these chapters contain useful information about food safety, exercise, sleep, marital relations.
Diseases caused by natural excreta, urine, gas, hunger, sleep, etc. and their remedies are also described as health in this chapter. While stating all this, in various substances, exercises, and other body religions, what is good for the body and what is bad is considered in this book according to the time. Today, even 5,000 years later, the grains, fruits, name & colors of leafy vegetables, and grains are explained in detail are mentioned in these texts.
In these ways, Ayurveda is very valuable for preserving human health.
