Sundarkand or Sunderkand or Sundara Kanda is the fifth book of the great Hindu epic Ramayana. Originally, it is a composition in the Sanskrit language by great sage Valmiki. Later, Goswami Tulsidas translated the chapter in the Awadhi language as Ramcharitmanas. In general, Sundarkand means The Book of Beauty.
