What is the Abhijit Muhurat Today?

Abhijit Muhurat today varies from place to place because sunrise and sunset times change with geographical location. As mentioned earlier, it is one of the 15 muhurats of the daytime and is usually the 8th one. It lasts for about 48–56 minutes, and it depends on the length of the day.

How is Abhijit Muhurat Calculated?

To understand and calculate Abhijit Muhurat today, you must first check the sunrise and sunset timings of your location. For today, in Delhi NCT, the sunrise time is around 05:24 AM and the sunset time is around 07:24 PM. The difference between these two is 14 hours (840 minutes). When we divide this by 15, each muhurat is approximately 56 minutes long.

Now, the 8th muhurat is calculated by adding 7 parts (7 × 56 = 392 minutes) to sunrise. This brings us to around 11:56 AM. Adding one more muhurat duration gives the end time as around 12:52 PM.

So, in Delhi, Abhijit Muhurat today is approximately from 11:56 AM to 12:52 PM.
