The Jharkhand elections 2019 have taken place from 15th November 2000, and 6 Chief Ministers have served the sate to date. The Elections were again held for 14 Lok Sabha seats. Chief Minister Raghubar Das was leading from Jamshedpur, East Singhbum. However, JMM was lagging behind when the counting began and is now leading with approximately 29 leads. Also, BJP grabs two seats in Jharkhand.
BJP is just leading in 23 constituencies very few in comparison to JMM- RJD- Congress leading by 47 seats. In fact, this time BJP stood in elections all by itself, for the first time.
Hemant Soren a candidate for CM post lead in Dumka and Barhait. Finally, Jharkhand Mukti Mocha single-handedly overtook the result, and Hemant Soren is going to claim power today. Raghubar Das is going to submit his resignation at Raj Bhawan as Hemant Soren will take over the post of CM. It’s Hemant Soren’s victory after a long time.
Soren expressed his gratitude towards Former Chief Minister Sibhu Soren, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi. JMM in alliance with congress wins the elections of 2019 with a majority. However, BJP candidate CP Singh wins from the capital Ranchi with a margin of 1800 from JMM candidate. “Dented in Haryana, denied in Maharashtra and Defeated in Jharkhand this is the story of BJP in 2019 elections” tweeted Chidambaram on Hemant Soren’s victory. Also, Arvind Kejriwal congratulated JMM for their victory and says that the loss of BJP was because of the CAA and NRC.
The party is immensely happy with the votes. Moreover, Raghubar Das humbly accepts his defeat. Celebrations have begun in the state with busting of crackers and sweet offerings. Furthermore, Soren says ” We will have to study NRC and CAA, only then will we decide on its implementation.” Raghubar Das says “It is not BJP’s defeat, it is my defeat,” Das told reporters at a press conference.
