Apply Tilak to Your Brother According to His Zodiac Sign

According to astrology, every zodiac sign has a ruling planet. That’s why performing any task according to the zodiac sign, or applying tilak to your brother on Bhai Dooj, is believed to strengthen that planet in the birth chart and bring auspicious results and positivity into life. Come, let’s learn about the tilak to apply according to each zodiac sign and its benefits.

If there is any dosh in your birth chart or you are facing any other problem and want personal advice or guidance, then you can chat with an astrologer.

Aries and Scorpio: Mars is the ruling planet of both Aries and Scorpio zodiac signs and represents energy, courage, strength and bravery. If your brother’s zodiac sign is Aries or Scorpio, then you can apply red Kumkum, Roli or orange Sindoor tilak. This helps to increase confidence and improve efficiency. It is also believed to reduce Mangal Dosh in the birth chart and also helps with freedom from debt.

Taurus and Libra: Venus is the ruling planet of both Taurus and Libra zodiac signs, and it is associated with material comforts, love and romance. On Bhai Dooj, apply a tilak of white sandalwood, Roli and Akshat to your brother. This helps to bring the blessings of Lakshmi Mata and strengthen financial stability.

Gemini and Virgo: Mercury is the ruling planet of Gemini and Virgo. It represents intelligence, speech, communication and business. If your brother’s zodiac sign is Gemini or Virgo, then you can apply an Ashtgandha tilak on Bhai Dooj. This helps to improve intellectual ability and remove obstacles in work and business.

Cancer: The moon is the ruling planet of the Cancer zodiac sign, and it is associated with comfort, nurturing instincts, and protectiveness. On Bhai Dooj, apply a white or silver tilak. If his zodiac sign is Cancer, you can apply a Kumkum and Akshat tilak or Sacred ash as a tilak. This helps to bring mental peace and happiness to the family.

Leo: The Sun is the ruling planet of Leo, and it is associated with the soul, family, authority and good health. Apply red sandalwood or red Kumkum tilak to the brothers who are born under Leo. This helps to increase respect, remove health-related dosh and increase their honour and respect in society.

Sagittarius and Pisces: Jupiter is the ruling planet of these signs. If your brother’s zodiac sign is Sagittarius or Pisces, then you can apply a tilak of yellow sandalwood, turmeric or saffron on Bhai Dooj. It helps to bring good fortune, expand knowledge and also bring happiness in family life.

Capricorn and Aquarius: Saturn is the ruling planet of these signs and is considered a symbol of justice, karma and hard work. If your brother’s zodiac sign is Capricorn or Aquarius, then you can apply a tilak of sacred ash on Bhai Dooj and, along with this, you can also apply kajal on his forehead. It helps reduce the effects of Shani Dosh and also helps overcome difficulties.
