Tesla is basically an American electric vehicle and clean energy company with headquarters in Palo Alto, California. It is named after the renowned Physicist “Nikola Tesla“. The company holds the top position as its the best selling electric passenger car manufacturer with a market share of 23% according to 2020 sales.

The foundation of Tesla Motors was laid in 2003 as a tribute and in memory of Nikola Tesla. The company is currently focusing on developing a sustainable energy mechanism through electric vehicles and solar power. The first production model of Tesla Motors came in 2009 namely “Roadster”. This was the beginning of a new revolution which is creating history with each passing day. Afterward, many models were introduced such as Model S Sedan in 2012, Model X SUV 2015, Model 3 Sedan in 2017 which is also the best selling electric car of the company, as per the reports of 2020.

Banglore’s Chief Minister, B.S. Yediyurappa thanked Elon Musk and welcomed the introduction of Tesla in India. In one of his recent tweets, he said “ Karnataka will lead India’s journey towards Green Mobility. Electric Vehicle Manufacturer Tesla will soon start its operations in India with an R&D unit in Bengaluru. I welcome Elon Musk to India and Karnataka and wish him all the very best.” With this, we are going to see a huge boom in the Indian market and will also increase the brand value of India in the international market.

India is a vast country and when a company like Tesla will run its electric cars on Indian roads Imagine!! What will be the Scenario?
