Pradosh Vrat is highly auspicious in the Hindu Calendar, as it allows one to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva and mitigate the effects of malefic planets. Evening Rituals (Pradosh Kaal)
Ans. Pradosh vrat occurs twice a month and is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It occurs on the 13th lunar day in both the Krishna and Shukla Paksha.
Ans. During Pradosh Vrat, grains are not permissible. One should not consume wheat, rice, or flour. Instead, satvic items such as fruits, dry fruits, kuttu aata, sabutdana, and milk.
Ans. Pradosh Vrat 2026 is a 13th lunar day that occurs in every month. Devotees observe a fast on this day to mitigate the effects of malefic planets and invoke the blessings of Lord Shiva.
Ans. Anyone can begin Pradosh Vrat any time when they feel a natural pull towards Lord Shiva. It can be either Krishna Paksha or Shukla Paksha. Usually, starting from Monday is considered highly auspicious.
