Shasthi Tithi Festivals 2026 

Yamuna Jayanti (March 24, 2026): Offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna at a river or water body. Perform puja with flowers, turmeric, and diyas, and pray for purity and renewal.

Hal Shashthi (September 2, 2026): Prepare a small clay pond and place tied branches of Jharberi, Palash, and Gular in it. Offer roasted grains (satanja) and turmeric, and chant the Hal Shashthi mantra for marital bliss and child well-being.

Chhath Puja (November 15, 2026): Stand at a river or clean water body at sunset and offer Arghya to the setting Sun. Prepare Thekua from wheat and jaggery as the sacred offering for Surya Dev and Chhathi Maiya.

Skanda Shashthi (November 15, 2026): Fast from sunrise and avoid onion, garlic, and non-vegetarian food. Worship Lord Kartikeya with flowers and incense, and chant the Skanda Shashthi Kavacham 108 times.
